🔔 Important Update on NCBPA ANSI Accreditation Process 🔔

Dear Members and Students,

We would like to provide you with an important update regarding NCBPA’s path to ANSI accreditation.

After recent communication and research with the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) and the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB), it has been clarified that in order to maintain compliance, the Northern California Backflow Prevention Association (NCBPA) must obtain ANSI accreditation independently of our valued partner, CRWA.

We want to assure you that we have already initiated the application process with ANAB and have officially notified the SWRCB of our intent to move forward with securing independent ANSI accreditation for NCBPA.

Our partnership with CRWA remains strong, and we will continue to work collaboratively to offer backflow certification exams as usual. This development simply ensures that NCBPA meets all required standards directly under ANSI, while continuing to serve our members with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
